The, “Andy Warhol Timeline” webpage is a result of the admiration I have for Pop Artist Andy Warhol and his artwork throughout his lifetime. The concept behind the timeline aesthetic came from analyzing Warhol’s major milestones in his career as a revolutionary artist. This webpage attempts to capture a small snippet of Warhol’s signature style and presents his major artistic milestones by presenting an iconic image with the year in which it was created from 1949 to 1973. In addition, a brief description is presented by each image to inform the view of the content.
The layering effect that the webpage incorporates is a visual representation of the progression of Warhol’s artwork. Moreover, in the upper part of the page, an image of warhol in his earlier years is presented. The position and the image itself correlate with the visual representation of Warhol’s beginning. As the user scrolls down his young face disappears and the image of Warhol in the later stages of his life appear once the bottom of the page is reached.
